The full Board of Directors met on March 19, 2008 at the Prairie Pines Lodge at 6:00 p.m. This meeting was a strategic planning session to determine the goals and objectives that would determine the direction NNDC would go. Minutes

March 19, 2008

Present: Jim Dickey, Roy Fitzgibbon, Emily Klein, Don Blausey, Zane Limbach, Sandy Powell, Eric Fuller, Greta Kickland, Morie Carnahan
Absent: Donny Grantham,Kristie Dexter, Bryce Landen
Staff: Brenda Johnson, Jodene Penny
Call to Order and Introductions
President Jim Dickey called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Brenda Johnson introduced Tim Erickson from the AIM Institute, who gave a brief presentation on CareerLink. The cost to join is $1500.
Minutes
Minutes were approved by consensus.
Financials
Don Blausey moved to approve the January and February 2008 financials. Roy Fitzgibbon seconded, motion passed.
New Business
Loan collection options were discussed.
Brenda Johnson reminded the Board of Directors that Andrea Rising is the sole owner of the Bean Broker.
Unfinished Business
The personnel committee rewrote the insurance section of the personnel handbook. The recommended change was approved by the board.
Other Business
Don Blausey moved to appoint Bryce Landen to be the NNDC Representative on the Chamber Board of Directors. Don will contact Bryce to see if he will accept the position. If Bryce declines, then Emily Klein will be appointed. Roy seconded, motion carried.
